San Jacinto College

This month, we had the opportunity to film a couple of spots for San Jacinto Community College. The spots featured graduates from some of their programs. We loved working with all of these amazing San Jac Certified graduates and being able to share their stories.

The Legendary A.J. Foyt

Today found the Zenfilm crew hanging with the pit crew at ABC Supply Co. Racing. We were there to film interviews with racing legend A.J. Foyt. Producer Merideth Melville, Cinematographer Richard Lacy and Sound Recordist John Lance captured the footage in Waller, TX. He is the only driver to win the Indianapolis 500 (which he won four times), the Daytona 500, the 24 Hours of Daytona, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. We are honored to add Mr. Foyt to the Zenfilm reel of fame. Thanks everyone for a great shoot!AJ Foyt

Editor’s note: CultureMap has featured Zenfilm’s Art Guys mini-bio documentary in their new series Hidden HoustonHidden Houston is an interactive multimedia series that aims to reveal the many things that are unique about the Bayou City and its surrounding areas.

Michael Galbreth and Jack Massing have been artistic partners since graduating from The University of Houston more than 25 years ago. When collaborating on their first work, The Art Guys Agree On Painting, the duo dipped their palms in paint, shook hands and agreed to become “The Art Guys.”

The New York Times has described them as “a cross between Dada, David Letterman, John Cage and The Smothers Brothers.” CBS News Sunday Morning called them, “A mad swirl!”
